Admission Representative

As a full-time admission representative, you will help identify and recruit the highest caliber of students for all SCAD locations and market segments. You will assist with on-ground recruitment duties (e.g., admission tours, applicant and admission meetings with admission advisers, outreach, etc.), portfolio counseling, pre-tour presentations, and attendance tracking. You will build positive rapport and networking opportunities with teachers, counselors, students, parents, and alumni that benefit SCAD; provide individualized attention to SCAD stakeholders, and participate in Live Agent chats with prospective students and their families.

Among other duties, you will assist with admission staffing coverages for events like pre-college programs and SCAD Days, domestic and international recruitment travel, and other admission-related initiatives as needed. You will also take an active role in admission trainings by staying current on SCAD policies, events, accolades, and programs.

The successful candidate is a stellar written and verbal communicator with equally exceptional interpersonal skills. Advanced customer-relations experience is essential, as is the ability to deliver dazzling presentations to large audiences.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
  • Ability to work outside office hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
  • Ability to travel domestically and globally as needed

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of SCAD, its programs, and offerings

Certificates, licenses, and registrations:Valid driver's license

Work Hours:The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.

Travel Required: 10-20%
