Academic Operations Manager

In this full-time role, you will support SCAD academic departments by managing the use of the school's buildings and facilities, observing classes, showcasing exceptional student work in high-traffic areas, and providing project management for school-based initiatives, ensuring efficiency in operations and compliance with university administrative policies. Among other duties, you will prepare content for faculty development workshops and presentations, support mentor programs and SCAD signature events, and assist with the faculty recruitment process. You will maintain a frequent, visible presence in your assigned buildings, attend and support all SCAD Days, and provide quality assurance for university reports.

The successful candidate is an excellent planner and communicator, able to effectively multi-task, manage deadlines, and solve problems. Accuracy and attention to detail are of the utmost importance, and expertise in computer applications and databases is required.

Minimum qualifications:

• B.A. degree minimum, 3-5 years relevant experience

Certificates, licenses, and registrations: Valid driver's license

Work hours:The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. In order to accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.

Travel required: Less than 10%
