Assistant Director, Graduate & Transfer Admission

As a full-time associate director of admission, you will develop strong relationships and networking opportunities with teachers, counselors, students, parents, and alumni as you help graduate and transfer applicants complete application files and gain acceptance to SCAD. You will encourage applicants to submit admission materials for review, such as portfolios, transcripts, and other academic documentation.

You will also travel to effectively represent SCAD to prospective students and build ongoing professional and institutional relationships at school-specific events, information sessions, and other recruitment events. Upon acceptance to SCAD, you will help register transfer students in appropriate degree programs, confirm transfer credits, and recommend required courses to students.

The ideal candidate has the ability to travel, extensive web knowledge, and attentiveness to detail. Experience with the Microsoft Office suite, Banner, and Salesforce is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to strategize, multitask, organize, and reach goals

Certificates, licenses, and registrations: Valid driver's license

Work Hours:The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
