The Department of Cell & Developmental Biology at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. Candidates must have a PhD or equivalent degree and postdoctoral experience in cell biology or a related field. Candidates at the Associate Professor level should also have an established track record of funding and research productivity. Applicants with interests in all areas of cell and developmental biology are encouraged to apply, including but not limited to those whose research is broadly related to cancer. Successful candidates are expected to develop and maintain a vigorous extramurally funded research program and participate in the education of medical and graduate students.

The department provides a collaborative research community with strengths in developmental and disease models, cell motility and the cytoskeleton, and mechanobiology.
