The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgery. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Applicants must be Board Certified or Board Eligible. Fellowship training in Foot & Ankle Surgery is required.
Teaching responsibilities may include resident, medical school teaching, and fellowship education in Foot and Ankle Surgery.
Clinical responsibilities may include a Foot and Ankle practice in the UPHS Health System Hospitals and may include on-call responsibilities.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include department-sponsored research projects. It is desirable for candidates to have experience in either relevant laboratory or clinical research. Evidence of scholarship and publications is required on the Clinician-Educator track.
