Job Description Summary
This position provides customer service for patrons of the Parking and Transportation Office, managing inquiries sent to the Office email inbox & acting as a primary point of contact for customers at the service window, via phone and email; answering questions regarding parking permits and commuter benefits.

The incumbent processes enrollments (including data entry & reconciliation) & all customer administrative transactions; answers questions on process & policy; issues inventory; provides guidance on access and eligibility for University's commuter benefits programs.

Principal Position Responsibilities/Duties:
  • Processing: Review & process of online requests for internal & external visitor & event parking request. Generate event hangtags & cash bags when needed to support special event parking. Track and process Student SEPTApass and parking requests. Review and track Commuter Bike program submissions.
  • Customer Service: Provide optimal customer experience for patrons of the Parking Office. Manage inquiries sent to parking email inbox.
  • Reconciliation & Reporting: Troubleshoot and reconcile weekly, bi-weekly & monthly payroll and commuter benefit files. Ensure appropriate notes & documentation have been added to AIMS profile data base. Generate and assist with compiling data for weekly and monthly reports.
  • Communication: Serve as the back-up for sending mass communications to permit holders
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Qualifications:
  • A High School Diploma or GED and 2 years to 3 years of experience is required or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Associates degree preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years of customer service experience required.
  • Attention to detail and time management required. Demonstrated ability to work in fast pace environment.
  • Strong competency with MS Office & data entry & database management.
  • Must be technically savvy with an ability to navigate multiple data bases.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify variations & exceptions within business processes.
  • Experience managing multiple phone lines & email required.
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills, including ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of institutional customers.
