Senior Rank Faculty Position, Division of Sleep Medicine - Tenure Track

The Division of Sleep Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in the tenure track. Applicants must have an M.D. and/or Ph.D degree.

Teaching responsibilities may include conducting clinical and education activities. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach and participate in medical school basic science education as well as graduate programs based on his or her research focus.

Clinical responsibilities may include providing clinical care for patients with sleep disorders at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include establishing an innovative, independent research program that will attract and maintain extramural funding. The successful candidate must have a demonstrated outstanding record of scholarship, publications and productivity in basic or translational research involving sleep. A record of current or past extramural funding is desirable.
