The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of echocardiography and either cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, or nuclear cardiology. Expertise in one or two imaging modalities is preferred. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Candidates should be ABNM certified in Cardiovascular Diseases; NBE certification; CBNC, CBCCT, CBCMR if applicable.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching fellows, residents, sonographers and technologists.

Clinical responsibilities may include supervising and interpreting echocardiograms (TTEs, TEEs, stress echocardiograms) as well as supervising and interpreting cardiac CTs and/or cardiac MRI, nuclear cardiology procedures.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include developing or maintaining a research program and research collaborations in the field of cardiac imaging, and being recognized as an expert in the field of cardiac imaging. Candidates should have prior and/or ongoing extramural grant support. Expertise in artificial intelligence applied to imaging will be given high priority, however, other areas of research in advanced cardiovascular imaging (molecular imaging, cardiac MRI research etc.) will be considered.
