Job Description Summary
Under general supervision of the manager of Wharton Production, effectively manage multi-media and video production/post-production resources with a focus on advanced video editing and animation skills. Develop and document work-flow strategies that promote efficiency and guarantee quality multi-media production.
Work with peers to develop and expand editing, animation, and other multimedia services on a regular and frequent basis. Serve as technical liaison for the classroom technology group in areas of video production, editing, animation, and future educational multi-media development.
Work with departments and faculty to develop multi-media solutions and workflows to meet complex and specific needs. Research emerging technologies, develop project scope, and set project priorities for the deployment of new technology at the Wharton School.

Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree is required and 3+ years of experience working with technology with progressively increasing responsibilities or equivalent combination of education and experience. A high degree of experience in advanced video editing skills. Demonstrate proven success working with technology including audio/video and multimedia production/post-production, digital media streaming, encoding strategies for large-scale processing and distribution, capture-to-streaming workflows for rich media content, live-event staging, and other classroom technologies.
Experience and expertise in streaming servers, online streaming services, and SQL are desirable. The successful candidate must be organized, abreast with current and emerging technologies, able to manage complex and fluid schedules of projects and events, multitask effectively, possess excellent written communication skills, have the ability to favorably represent Wharton Computing in dealings with non-technical high-profile users. Intermediate-level desktop support skills are desirable with an emphasis on video editing software.
Required: The ability to climb a ladder, lift equipment up to 50 lbs, and familiarity with minor repairs of technical equipment. Occasional night/weekend coverage with flexible weekday availability will be necessary.
