Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Oncology in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the tenure track. Applicants must have an M.D. and be board certified in pediatric hematology/oncology.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching and research training of residents, post-doctoral fellows, graduate students and medical students.

Clinical responsibilities may include serving as attending physician on the dedicated neuro-oncology inpatient service and providing outpatient care to children, adolescents and young adults with brain tumors. Candidates should have at least three years prior experience in these clinical roles.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include directing an independent research program focused on developing novel chimeric antigen receptor-based immunotherapies for children, adolescents and young adult with brain tumors. Candidates should have a track record of successful federal funding.

The successful applicant will be provided with independent laboratory space and a generous start-up package.
