Job Description Summary
The Athletic Trainer - Temporary is responsible for the prevention, evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of student-athletes and related illness. Receives general supervision and reports to the Head of Sports Medicine/Athletic Training

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Covering practices and team home/away games - 30%
  • Evaluate and treat student- athlete injuries - 25%
  • Rehabilitation of student-athlete injuries - 10%
  • Communication with MD, coaches, parents and athletes - 10%
  • Pre-practice treatment of student-athletes - 20%
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned - 5%


Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree in a related field is preferred.

Required certifications: Certified Athletic Trainer (Board of Certification, Ind), Licensed Athletic Trainer (PA State Board of Medicine)

2 or more years of experience in a collegiate setting is preferred.
