The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of outpatient and inpatient general/consultative cardiology. We welcome applicants with interest in emerging specialties, including cardio-oncology, preventive cardiology, women's cardiovascular disease, aortopathy and aortic medicine, vascular medicine, HIV cardiovascular disease, and others. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Candidates should be board certified or board eligible in cardiovascular disease.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students, medical residents, and cardiovascular fellows. There are also opportunities to teach advanced practice providers. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active and high quality teaching responsibilities.

Clinical responsibilities may include attending on the outpatient and inpatient services at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and associated practice sites. Opportunities for non-invasive imaging will be considered based on the candidates experience and the needs of the division.

There will be an expectation of the ability of the candidate to provide management and/or leadership. Rank will be commensurate with experience.
