ONE-YEAR VISITING FACULTY POSITION
DIRECTOR OF WIND ENSEMBLE
RANK/SALARY: Visiting Assistant Professor, one-year visiting appointment. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
DUTIES: Responsibilities include: (1) Conduct the Wind Ensemble; and (2) Teach courses in music education and conducting. Other duties may include: (1) Conduct the Symphonic Band; and (2) Assist in Supervising Student Teachers.
QUALIFICATIONS: An earned doctorate in Wind Conducting or Music Education, or equivalent experience (ABD Considered); demonstrated success in directing university bands; experience working with and/or teaching in public school band programs.
