Executive Coordinator

As the executive coordinator, you will manage daily operations of the President's schedule, manage their lunch, and prepare briefing material and talking points for meetings and appearances. Responsibilities include preparing detailed trip itineraries, driving the President, attending meetings, assisting with presidential initiatives, and researching and preparing gifts for university guests. In this position you will manage phone calls, attend all SCAD signature events, submit purchase requisitions, coordinate the President's personal and business schedule, accompany the President when traveling, and maintain an inventory of supplies.

As the executive coordinator, you will be required to give a timely response to all requests via text, email, or phone. You must be able to understand and follow instructions, and to transmit this information clearly and honestly to the appropriate individuals. You must act with the upmost discretion and employ a high level of tact and confidentiality in this position.

Minimum Qualifications:   
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Professional tact and ability to maintain confidentiality with strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of all software programs and commercial/private travel
  • Must be detail oriented with diplomatic and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational, problem solving, and multitasking skills

Certificates, licenses, and registrations:
  • Valid driver's license

Travel Required:
  •  Over 50%

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
