Senior SCADask Researcher/Writer

As the SCADask senior researcher/writer, you must write elevated, vivid prose demonstrating mastery and understanding of design, research, business, and the university's history and mission. In this role, you will identify compelling research questions, design and execute studies, analyze findings, and synthesize strategic insights and recommendations. The ideal candidate must have exceptional qualitative and quantitative research skills, excellent academic writing abilities, and be highly self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in writing, business, communications, social sciences, or related field; or equivalent research experience
  • At least five years of professional experience managing research projects, preferably in an academic or think tank setting
  • Expertise in multiple methodologies with excellent academic writing abilities to produce publications, reports, presentations, etc.
  • Strong critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with exceptional collaboration and communication skills
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to work within and adapt to institutional style guidelines for written work

Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Solid track record of writing and publication

Travel required:
  • 10% to 20%

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
