As the assistant director of admission for your international region, you will build relationships and create networking opportunities with teachers, counselors, students, parents, and alumni through extensive travel, presentations, and individual attention. Travel includes, but is not limited to, school-specific events, information sessions, conferences, and college fairs. You will plan and coordinate your travel to high-strategic-fit high schools in conjunction with the regional director and regional teammates.
In this full-time role, you will meet individually with students to provide information regarding the application process, supporting documents, and to ensure a high proportion of right-fit students complete the application process and fully understand the options and opportunities at SCAD. When prospects apply, you will review and evaluate application files, ensuring completeness and adherence to admission requirements. All interaction and data records are to be maintained via Salesforce.
The successful candidate has the ability to engage diverse audiences through strong interpersonal and communication skills. The candidate also has a demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. Passion for the arts and design education, along with a genuine enthusiasm for promoting SCAD's mission and values, are a must.

Travel required: Over 50%
Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other work days and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Excellent presentation and writing skills
- Proficiency in computer databases and office productivity software
- Ability to travel extensively and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required
Preferred qualifications:
- Previous experience in college admission, student recruitment, or related fields
- Experience with Salesforce and BANNER
