Enrollment Events Manager

As the enrollment event manager, you will supervise pre-college assistants and student ambassadors, hiring and training them to assist with enrollment events and programs. You will assist with SCAD Days, Spotlight Days, Hometown Hero, Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, and SCAD Challenge. Responsibilities may include virtual recruitment through Live Agent shifts and virtual information sessions, daily admission tour assistance, and domestic and global recruitment travel.As the event manager you will work closely with leadership teams to create and implement pre-college program marketing strategies to promote awareness.

In this position, you will determine program needs, securing the necessary equipment and meeting needs while negotiating contracts and agreements with vendors. In addition, you will be expected to coordinate with university personnel for the provision of on-site student needs during programs. As the enrollment event manager, you will manage the entire application process for pre-college programs, accurately tracking communications in management tools in a timely manner. You will be responsible for sharing information on the programs and all related activities to staff, preparing reports and statistical summaries, performing annual studies on program needs to then evaluate new operational goals, and acting as a communication liaison who exhibits excellent customer service skills.

As the enrollment event manager, you will support student leadership by attending student involvement committee meetings and similar activities, interacting with guests as a quality representative of SCAD, and providing assistance for all on-campus initiatives when needed. Additional responsibilities include participating in other SCAD location events and occasionally traveling to effectively represent the college and recruit prospective students. Attendance of major events is required.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills
  • Advanced customer relations skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum of one year of experience
  • Extensive knowledge of all aspects of the university
  • Project management experience

Certificates, licenses, and registrations:
  • Valid driver's license
  • Passport

Travel Required:
  • 10% to 20%

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
