As the production coordinator, you will establish and manage event schedules, ensuring the seamless coordination and execution of events while managing guest logistics and all aspects of guest participation. Your responsibilities include assisting in back-end set up and execution of virtual events; liaising with publicity and legal departments for necessary paperwork, releases, and licensing related to events; and providing administrative support to the executive director and other SCADFILM staff.
The production coordinator will assist with ticketing management and attendance tracking for events, submit screening location and rental requests through the SCADFILM system, and conduct research and pre-interviews to ensure event readiness and effectiveness. In this role you will act as the host during festivals and events, representing SCADFILM and networking within the industry.

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in film production, communications, or a related field with at least
two years of relevant experience - Skilled familiarity with Office 365, Google Workplace, Zoom Business, and Adobe Acrobat
- Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and multitasking skills with attention to detail
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally with limited notice as necessary
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with live events or productions that require juggling demanding requests and the flexibility to accommodate last-minute schedule changes
- Experience with travel coordination including global travel
- Video editing skills in Adobe Premier, experience with Salesforce, and familiarity with Adobe Spark and Canva
- Experience with back-end management of online ticketing services such as EventBrite or SquadUp
