The Department of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure research track. Expertise is required in the specific area of arterial spin labeled (ASL) perfusion MRI. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include the development of an independent and/or collaborative research program and participation in multidisciplinary research developing advanced MRI biomarkers of vascular cognitive impairment and neurodegeneration.

The successful candidate must possess a Ph.D. in biophysics, bioengineering, or in a related field and have at least 4 to 5 years of postdoctoral experience developing and validating MRI biomarkers of aging and dementia. The candidate should have outstanding productivity in both technical and collaborative research as well as a track record of productive independent research (via grant and publication history).
