Job Description Summary

Job Description

This position will support the research activities of ten faculty members. Duties will include: Processing all reimbursements and scheduling for travel, conferences and other miscellaneous research activities; Scheduling and coordinator meetings; Managing faculty members' calendars; Updating and maintaining CV and FEDS database; Providing course support and management of online course sites; Formatting manuscript drafts for journal submission; Taking minutes in teleconferences and face-to-face meetings; Assisting with article references and online manuscripts submission processes; and Submitting and managing supply orders for research projects.

Qualifications:

The minimum of a High School diploma and 5 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. College degree or coursework is a plus. Experience formatting in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint strongly preferred. Experience formatting and preparing journal submissions preferred. Experience with CV maintenance and FEDS database preferred.

Ideal candidate will have experience in an academic research setting, and function well independently as well as collaboratively. Ideal candidate will have a superior organizational and communication skills, excellent customer service skills and attitude, tremendous accountability, flexibility and adaptability, capacity to multi-task, and a strong work ethic.
