The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of sickle cell disease and disorders of hemostasis and thrombosis. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Board certification or eligibility in Hematology is required.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students, residents, fellows as well as advanced practice providers, pharmacists and their trainees.

Clinical responsibilities may include care of patients at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania with sickle cell disease, disorders of hemostasis and thrombosis, and/or general benign hematologic conditions. Candidate should have a track record in patient-oriented research in non-malignant hematology.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include research in rare blood disorders. The successful applicant will be part of a growing clinical research program.
