Job Description

The Administrative Coordinator is a key member of the Operations team, reporting to the Business Administrator. This position provides a high level of professional administrative support and will be seated at the front desk as the first point of contact for executive guests, board members, and donors, both in-person and over the phone. Superior customer service skills and initiative are needed, with the ability to interact professionally with alumni, vendors, and senior-level administrators.

In this role, you will be tasked with a wide range of activities including but not limited to:
  • Maintaining inventory and ordering supplies for the kitchen and business centers
  • Budget and Purchase order management for business operations
  • Reviewing/approving Concur expense reports
  • Checking and sorting mail on a daily basis
  • Assist in onboarding and training of new administrative staff and answering their questions/resolving issues on an ongoing basis

Qualifications

* High school diploma or GED (Bachelors degree preferred) and 5-7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Experience within a College or University setting preferred.

* Reliability and a strong work ethic combined with great communication skills are a must. Experience with Excel, Word, Ben Financials and Concur desired.
