Job Description Summary
We are seeking a temporary extra worker- project manager to assist with an established collaboration between a research team at the University of Pennsylvania and an outside funding institute. This position will interface directly with the funding institute serving as the main line of communication between the two groups. The hire will generate and provide timely reports, provide advice and communicate resolutions on issues that might arise regarding subject recruitment, sample processing and/or data sharing. He/She will communicate any requests from the funding institute to the research team and work with both groups to achieve stated research project goals.

Job Description

Duties:

  • Communicate the needs of the funding institute to the research team and coordinate meetings between research team and funding intitute
  • Provide expert advice and support to project manager
  • Generate and provide reports on study progress and sample shipping
  • Manage HISE and REDcap databases


Qualifications:

A highly motivated individual with 6+ years experience as a project manager in the clinical setting. BS degree in relevant field is required. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, regulatory knowledge, effective communication skills, the ability to work as an effective member of a team, able to work remotely, and be able to independently oversee completion of intermediate to complex, long-range tasks.
