The Division of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of medical care for a diverse patient population with a broad range of allergic and immunologic diseases in outpatient clinics and on inpatient consultation services. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Applicants should be board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine as well as Allergy and Immunology. Expertise is required in the specific area of medical care for a diverse patient population with a broad range of allergic and immunologic diseases in outpatient clinics and on inpatient consultations services.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching Allergy and Immunology fellows, residents and medical students. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active and high quality teaching or equivalent service.

Clinical responsibilities may include proficiency in treating both common and complex allergic and immunologic disorders in both inpatient and outpatient practice at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania as well as Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. Preferred candidates should have an interest and experience in education and systems improvement initiatives.
