Job Description Summary
The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for a 100+ and growing user-base. Liaise with all Business Units and cross-functional teams to provide Salesforce support; including Sales Cloud and other Cloud platforms, and assist with driving adoption throughout the organization. Design, configure and maintain custom objects, flows, formulas and triggers. Provide reports and dashboards for senior management and business teams. With attention to detail, a commitment to quality and a strong customer focus, continuously deliver business solutions while maintaining stability and security of existing functionality. The successful candidate must be passionate in supporting user adoption and increasing the business value of the implementation. Work with departmental technical colleagues to understand, analyze, and improve upon integrated business systems and applications. Work with external consultants and a team of Salesforce administrators across the Wharton School, to maintain and support the four-org Wharton School Salesforce platform

Job Description

  • Design, configure and maintain solutions on the Salesforce platform using custom objects, triggers, formula fields, flows, apex code, custom views, and other content, which captures data relevant to the department's goals. Link Salesforce to other management information systems for seamless integration.
  • Use Salesforce Reporting, Einstein Analytics, Tableau and/or other similar engines, to deliver timely, accurate and actionable business metrics for analysis such as business intelligence reports and/or dashboards to track items such as, but not limited to, pipeline/forecasts, contact lead times, customer engagement, trends and growth.
  • Provide day-to-day end user support, including user profiles and role management and security.
  • Lead system maintenance and upgrades, maintain required documentation, and proactively identify improvement opportunities through systematic measurements and analysis.
  • Drive end user adoption, value, and ROI via high quality day-to-day end user support and collaborative application of business knowledge. Collaborate Information Technology Group, Finance and Administration Group, Marketing Group and Executive Education to implement processes and systems across the Executive Education.
  • Manage special projects as assigned. This includes sales compensation administration and tracking, annual and monthly revenue tracking and reporting, ad hoc reporting, and contract processing.
  • Keeping abreast with new Salesforce features and functionality and providing recommendations for system and process improvements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-4+ years' experience as Salesforce Administrator. (required)
  • Salesforce.com Certified Administrator. (required)
  • Ability to build and maintain Salesforce custom objects, triggers, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity. (required)
  • Intermediate knowledge of relational database design and SQL. (required)
  • B.A./B.S. or equivalent degree. (required)
  • Demonstrated ability to develop project scope and schedule, gather business requirements, define and execute action steps for projects tasked to the position. (required)
  • Familiarity with one or more Marketing Automation platforms. (preferred)
  • Knowledge of .NET, C#, Python Django, or Java Script. (preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs. (required)
